Conditional colour

Jul 13, 2012 at 5:51 PM

This is a great utility.  I'm a WPF novice attempting to modify it to suit our team, where we have conditional colours not based on work item type (bug, task, user story etc), but based on work item activity (Design, Development, Testing etc). I can see in the XAML the different DataTemplates for each work item type, with the hard coded colours.  Since we only have 4 activity types, that approach is fine, but since an activity isn't a different object type, I don't know how I can make it work.  Can anyone give me a gentle shove in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

Never mind, I figured it out.  I added some additional properties to the TaskCardRow that return a brush based on Activity and bound the Background and BorderBrush attributes to those properties for the work item type of Task.
