Dropdown lists "Team" and "Iteration Path" are empty

After selection of a "service provider" (i.e. TFS 2013) the list of report templates appears but both dropdown lists for "Team" and "Iteration Path" are empty.

Hi daperata,

In order to use the 'Team'/'Iteration Path' - you need to be using a server version 2012 or 2013. Also you need to use the Scrum process template.

Can you provide some information about your server?

As a workaround use the TFS 2012 provider...

Hi Martin

Selecting VS2010 worked which is funny because the TFS Server and my VS are 2012.

And maybe because of this the "Assigned to:" attribute could not be retrieved for "Detailed Report" but is left empty.

Anyway, I am now able to print task cards.

Thanks,
Peter.

PS: workflow could be improved, if the user would not have to start all over again.

Without the information about your server - i cannot help you. My guess, is that your are connecting to a TFS 2010. /mrtn

As I said: the TFS server is running on a 2012 version and I have installed a VS2010, 2012 and 2013 client (dialog says: "Client installed: True").
But actually I am now using an Excel based solution. Thanks nevertheless!

Hi,

I had the same issue but I was under pressure to get a fix as we have just upgraded to TFS2013 and we use this tool primarily for our sprints. I didn't have much time to figure out what was causing the issue so to resolve it I ported the TFS2010 report UserControl etc.. over to the TeamFoundationServer2013Services project. This seems to work fine for us.

Thanks
Paul.
